Beaches & Coast

Stunning coastline and beaches of West Wales.

The Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs through Manorbier just below our garden. The coastal path is 186 miles long going between St Dogmaels near Cardigan, and Amroth to the east of Tenby. On the way it passes through some of the most beautiful and stunning beaches and coastline in the world.

  • Manorbier Beach lies below Castlemead and is an easy walk down the hill, past the castle.

  • Tenby has four beaches: North Beach, South Beach, Castle Beach and Harbour Beach.

  • Freshwater East is a long, sandy beach facing south east so that it's more sheltered from the incoming swell that makes Freshwater West popular for surfing.

  • Freshwater West is further to the west from Freshwater East towards Angle. It is less commercialised, with some small car parks on the narrow road behind the dunes.

  • Barafundle Beach is one of the prettiest beaches in Pembrokeshire.

  • West Angle Bay is on the peninsula south of Pembroke overlooking the mouth of Milford Haven Estuary.
