Nestling at the head of a small wooded valley, Castlemead is set in 1/2 acre of mature grounds and lawns with extensive views across Manorbier Bay, the Norman Church and historic Manorbier Castle.
Here we offer a gloriously quiet, relaxing atmosphere in the heart of the village yet just a “stone’s throw” from the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and a short stroll to our Blue Flag Beach.
Castlemead Hotel is ideally situated for those walking the coastal path, surfing, kayaking, relaxing on the beaches, and exploring the Pembrokeshire countryside.
Manorbier Beach beneath us is dog friendly, and has lovely rock pools at low tide especially for little ones. Walk the Coast path, beneath our garden and bus back from Tenby or Freshwater East.
Pembrokeshire offers a fabulous choice of Blue Flag beaches, all within half an hours drive offering surfing, windsurfing and kayaking. Lessons for beginners are available. We are a stones throw from the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and welcome walkers whatever the state of the weather or time of year. We will help you dry any wet clothes ready for the next day and move your luggage on to the next stay if needed.
Dogs are welcome and there is plenty of easy access path, common land and beach around us to take them for walks.
Cyclists are welcome and we have secure storage available for your bikes and equipment.
Surfers are well catered for as the beach is only a short walk down the hill and the secure storage facilities are available to keep boards and wetsuits in.
Manorbier is one of Pembrokeshire’s most popular surf venues. It is also ideal for body boarding, fishing and kayaking.
