Narberth. The lovely colourful town of Narberth is around 15 miles from Manorbier, a beautiful quirky little town voted one of the best shopping towns in Pembrokeshire. Amongst the quaint antique shops and beautiful home and gift shops are dotted a few lovely places to eat. During the evening you may catch a show or some live music in the Queen’s hall. Narberth is mostly dog friendly, so you can bring your four-legged friend along.
Tenby. Beautiful Tenby is steeped in history, the ancient town walls enclose a cluster of lovely shops, restaurants and pubs, surrounded by stunning blue flag beaches and a pretty fishing harbour Tenby is a lovely day out. Blue historical information plaques are dotted around the town, showcasing it colourful past. Beneath the ground in Tudor square are a series of tunnels, used to help Henry VII to escape his enemies.
Pembroke. The Old Town of Pembroke although only a small town, Pembroke castle is very impressive in stature, full of amazing history and stunning views. Walk alongside the tidal river and feed the swans and ducks before heading into the small town for a little lunch and shopping.
St. Davids & Solva. St.Davids the smallest city in the UK, really just a small pretty town with a giant 6th century cathedral that’s still in constant use. One of the most beautiful buildings you’ll ever step foot in, if you check your times you can head down for the daily service. Heading just around the corner, is Solva, a pretty little fishing village with lovely traditional Welsh shops and historical lime kilns that line the narrow harbour.
Manorbier. Is a beautiful historic little village, surrounded by rolling hills. At the top of the village is Manorbier is the RAF base, a small training base for the air force, vintage tanks can sometimes be spotted from the village. Within the village is ourselves, a small pub, café and shop. Above the beautiful beach sits St. James 12th century Church and Manorbier castle also 12th century. Dotted around the village, amongst the woodland and on the coastal path are other historical places to discover, the kings quoit, beer house and dove cote to mention a few.
Laugharne. Is a pretty little town on the water’s edge, with towering medieval castle ruins to explore and a lovely science walks around to the famous Dylan Thomas writing shed. Lovely places to eat and shop Laugharne offers a lovely afternoon out.
